Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
- The deal: there is no monthly subscription, setup fee, or per-seat charge; Siima charges 1.9% of a confirmed booking (minimum $2), invoiced monthly plus VAT.
- Your data is yours — catalogue, bookings, and guests. Export it any time.
- Your business is yours: you set prices, terms, and refund policies with your guests; Siima is the system underneath.
- No lock-in: no contract period, no cancellation fee. Pay what's invoiced, take your data, go.
- Pay your invoices: unpaid invoices can lead to account restriction after a grace period.
1. The agreement
These terms are between Fourlanes, Kampala, Uganda ("Siima", "we") and the business that creates an operator account ("the Operator", "you"). By using Siima you accept them.
2. The service
Siima is operations software for tour and safari operators: capturing inquiries and bookings, tracking payments, coordinating trips and suppliers, and reporting. We host it, maintain it, and support it. We may improve or change features, and will not materially reduce the core service you rely on without notice.
3. Fees
- There is no monthly subscription, setup fee, or per-seat charge.
- A commission of 1.9% of the booking total (minimum $2 USD) accrues when a booking is confirmed, regardless of how the guest pays.
- Commissions are invoiced monthly in USD, plus VAT at the applicable rate. Invoices are due 6 days after issue.
- If a booking is cancelled or refunded before it has been invoiced, its commission is voided. Invoiced commissions stand.
- Invoices left unpaid past the due date and grace period may lead to restriction of the account until settled.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are the merchant of record for your trips: prices, availability, quality, refunds, and guest relationships are yours.
- You confirm you have the right to enter the guest data you record, and that you use it lawfully.
- You keep your team's credentials secure and are responsible for actions taken under your account's roles.
- You use the Service lawfully and don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it.
5. Data
Your catalogue, bookings, and guest data are yours. You can export them at any time. We process them only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Payments between you and your guests
Payments guests make to you — cash, bank transfer, mobile money, or through your own payment pages — are between you and your guests. Siima records them but is not a party to them.
7. Leaving
There is no contract period. You may stop using Siima at any time: export your data, settle any outstanding invoice, and ask us to close the account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms or leave invoices unpaid, with notice where practicable.
8. Liability
Siima is provided with reasonable skill and care, but "as is": we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability in any twelve months is capped at the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Questions: hello@usesiima.com, or Block C, Ntinda Complex, Kampala, Uganda.
