Pricing

Siima pricing: 1.9% per confirmed booking

per confirmed booking. No monthly subscription, setup fee, or per-seat charges.

This is not a commission. Marketplaces take 15–30% of the booking and own the guest relationship — Siima takes 1.9% and the guest stays yours.

One honest detail, stated here rather than discovered later: small bookings pay a $2 minimum. That's the whole Siima platform price. Optional payment processing keeps the provider's own fee, with no Siima markup. The math below shows every shilling.

Fees accrue when each booking is confirmed; nothing is deducted from guest payments. One invoice in USD covers the previous month. No confirmed bookings means no Siima platform invoice for that month.

Why this model?

Siima earns only when a booking is confirmed. That keeps the cost variable, including through quiet months, instead of adding another fixed bill.

Pricing questions, answered plainly.

When is the fee charged?
The moment a booking is confirmed — whichever way the guest pays, including cash and bank transfer. It's 1.9% of the booking total, minimum $2 per booking. Nothing is deducted from your money in flight; fees accrue to a ledger and are invoiced monthly.
How is it invoiced?
One invoice a month, in USD, covering the previous month's confirmed bookings, due 6 days after issue. You can settle it online or by bank transfer. Collecting guest payments online through PesaPal is optional and stays off unless you turn it on — by default guests pay you directly and Siima never holds or routes their money. If you do turn it on, PesaPal's processing fee (3.5%) is passed through at cost on the same invoice — never marked up.
What if a booking cancels or refunds?
Cancelled or refunded before it's been invoiced: the fee is voided — you don't pay for trips that didn't happen. Already invoiced: the fee stands.
Can I pass the fee to the guest?
Yes — it's your pricing decision, made per quote or per market. The costing view shows the fee while you price, so passing it on is a one-line choice, not an afterthought.
